Treats at Break Time

At the end of each half term, cookies are served to the children as a special treat for their morning break! These treats are purchased in advance by parents and carers in the weeks leading up to the end of the half term, using the forms supplied. 

Book Fairs 

In the Autumn and Spring terms, look out for our book fairs held in the school hall! For every book purchased, the school receives a percentage of the sale in vouchers to spend on books for classrooms or the school library. Credit cards are accepted at these events.

Bingo Night

In the Autumn and Spring terms, come along to our Bingo Night events! Bingo games, cake, hot and cold drinks, and a fun raffle with great prizes. Fun for the whole family :) 

FOM Shops

FOM provides a shop for children to buy presents for special events, including Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Small gifts are available for sale during school one afternoon just before the holiday. A range of gifts are available at a cost of around £2 each. Children simply bring their money in on the day and they can choose their presents during their class's time slot. Remaining gifts are available for sale at the end of the school day, in the school hall. 

School Discos

Towards the end of each term, children have the opportunity to come out for a fun evening with their classmates at a disco party. With dancing and party games organised by the amazing Monkston teachers and staff, and a FOM tuck shop featuring hot dogs, sweets, glow sticks and lucky dips, these events are a highlight of the school year!

Christmas Cards 

Buy Christmas cards and gifts featuring your child's artwork. Your child will complete their artwork in class, it will be sent off to our chosen supplier and then you will receive a sample card home in their book bags. Simply order and pay online by the deadline to receive your items with free postage back to the school in plenty of time for Christmas.

Refreshments at School Productions

Support FOM while you watch your child's class production or choir performance! We sell drinks and small snacks in the library entrance before the show.

Summer Fair

This community event is the biggest in the FOM calendar each year! For one day in July, the school playground and field are transformed into a funfair with games, food, local business stalls, a raffle with incredible prizes, and much more! This event needs a lot of volunteers to make it happen, so if you can help please get in touch!
