First, please find some workbooks to support the correct formation of individual lessons. 

There are four handwriting families. These are called the curly caterpillar family, the one armed robot family, the ladder letters and the zig zag monsters. Please find attached a poster explaining these.

 

Below this, please find supporting worksheets that work alongside Nelson Handwriting - the handwriting scheme followed at Monkston. These worksheets are for year 2 children who are forming all individual letters correctly and are ready to start to join.
