Caterpillar update

 

It was tense in the Loy house this week when we had to move our caterpillars into their new home. All 5 caterpillars turned into chrysalides. We had to remove the lid of the pot, carefully clean off any threads, stand the lid in the special chrysalide station and put it into the mesh butterfly garden.

 

We are now watching and waiting for them to emerge as butterflies. This will take 7-14 days. Check in next weeks photographs for any developments.
