Any school is a reflection of its community and Monkston is no exception. The school is lively, energetic and all about learning. The teaching and associate staff are experienced, proficient and committed and the atmosphere of the school is both quiet and welcoming with an air of activity, purpose and enjoyment.

From the very first day in 2001 the success of the school has been built on providing the very best for the children of Monkston and Monkston Park. This is all about achieving high standards in literacy and numeracy as well as developing a range of skills, concepts and attitudes which they will require for success in their life to come. It is by placing great value on the personal and social development of the children so that they may gain confidence, independence, perseverance and adaptability. In short it is about giving our children the edge for the future.
